Do I have to live in Florida or travel to Florida to get my Florida Real Estate License?

No. Now there is no need to travel to Florida to take the Real Estate Sales Associate or Real Estate Broker course.  In addition, it is no longer necessary to be a Florida resident to hold a Florida Real Estate license in this state.  The Florida Real Estate Sales Associate and Real Estate Broker Pre-License course can be done through Live Classroom, Web Classroom, or Online courses.

Who can take the Florida Real Estate Sales Associate 63 hour Course?

Anyone 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or GED Equivalency.  You can now take the Florida Real Estate Sales Associate prelicensing course from anywhere in the United States including Hawaii and Puerto Rico.  The state exam is given throughout the United States .  The state exam is given by Promissor.com   The Florida Real Estate Sales Associate course can now be taken through Live Classroom, Web Classroom, and Online.

Who can take the Florida Real Estate Broker course?

Anyone who has had a Real Estate Salesperson or Real Estate Broker License from any state for at least one year within the last 5 years.  The Florida Real Estate Broker course can now be taken through Live Classroom, Web Classroom, and Online.

  • Hold an active Sales Associate license for 12 months out of the past 5 years
  • Submit an Online application and pay required fee Online to the Division of Real
  • Pass the Florida Real Estate Brokers state exam with 75%
